If it's in powdered form, it should make a darned nice thickening agent. I've used regular peanut butter before for that, and it takes a while to activate, but eventually it comes around.

I have a great recipe for cookies with PB and Special K cereal. It is really hard to mix by hand, thanks in part to the thickness of the PB. I may have to look for some of this stuff and try it, might be a lot easier on the old shoulder...

They sucked all the fat out. That is what makes PB such a great survival food in the first place. I'd use it as a thickener and protein source in the kitchen, but I don't see it in my pack.

Also, nuts and grains that have been milled lose their nutrients faster than if kept whole.

I think it's peanut butter that's had the oils removed, basically. Hmm, so without the oils, is powdered peanut butter low-fat? The Reeces Pieces factoid is interesting, considering that I love them.
