Since I am new to this, let me start by saying I hope I am not about to break
any rules with this post.
I am not in any way affiliated with this company, except I keep sending them my money to replace the sweet sticks my son can't find in his hockey bag.
The sweet stick is designed to "touch-up" the edges on ice skates. While
bored out of my mind waiting for the latest practice on record to end one night, I took note that this item is made from the same (ceramic) material as my favorite sharpening stones.
A few strokes of my blade on the flat side of the stick confirmed this.
As a user of multi-purpose items I love this tool.
1. Saves money on repeated skate sharpening
2. On the bench game saver for minor skate blade damage
3. Field expedient knife sharpener
4. Something TO DO while waiting on practice to end
Any other multi-use field expedient sharpeners out there?
