Anyone have reactions to owning a Garrity flashlight? I have one, but even fresh out of the package works only some of the time...

There is a wide range of lights they put out. One model that I own (several of) is reviewed in the link above. It runs for $12 at Wal-Mart, seems to run decently for a good while on 3 AAA batteries, and has never given me trouble. I have not done anything crazy it test it, or really put it through its paces, so YMMV...

Ok - Replaced the bulb with the one in the cap and now it works fine.

Have to say that I have never had a problem with a garrity flashlight.......

I just picked a couple of these up at our local Canadian Tire store the past week-end. $19 ea. Impressive for the price.

No pouch supplied but it did come with batteries. Stopped at the $1 store and Voila! Two decent plastic cases..and they will hold 3 spare batteries.

Yes I'm a bit of a prepper...and the Xmas stockings are now done.

Just preparing for the rest of it now!!...and the shopping.
