OBG, the first day was picture perfect. The skies opened up later that evening...and pretty much stayed open for business. It let up Saturday overnight to tease us as we planned to pack up and leave Sunday. Then Sunday morning came and the rains blessed us again...hard.

So all the guys were groaning because all of the kit was going to require much clean up and drying prior to packing. Fortunately, when I got home, it had stopped raining. But it still took me about three hours to get everything dried and repacked, but left in the garage to air out some more.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great time, despite the rain!

Yeah it was fun. The rain is fun too. You get to do things in the rain you can't do in the dry. So it's a good experience for the kids. I think we have experienced rain in about 80% of our camping trips, so for the kids, it's just a different way to have fun.

And when we do camp by the ocean, it's a moot point because we WILL get wet anyway.
