Saw a post about how a Yu-Can is as a backup stove. I've searched and searched and can't find exactly what this is. Anyone got some pics.

So the next morning it was time for breakfast. Cereal or a muffin for breakfast? Not for us! Gail made French toast and bacon on coffee cans. Again, how does one do this? You have to have this can:

It has cardboard rolled up inside with some concoction of wax and dryer lint in it as well. When you light it, it burns for awhile…kinda like a Steno burner. Then you take a coffee can, punch holes in the top and bottom (see next pic) and put it upside down on the pop can. This makes a burner. Let it heat up and now you’re ready to fry bacon.

After the bacon is done, the can is now “seasoned” enough to fry French toast. I don’t have a pic of the French toast, but it works just like it does on the stove at home. It’s amazing.

I think I'll build one but make my own big candle with cardboard rolled up in a tuna can and wax poured over it, this compacts my fuel a bit. I'll save the lid from two tuna cans since I have one of those fancy non cutting can openers and cut opposing holes in each lid then arrange them so I can regulate the temperature output and have long bolt holding them down. That is going to be my weekend project. Hope to have pics up before Monday. Tealights for a backup to the backup though.
Now how do I add pics from my computer? All I've been able to do is copy from other websites.

Anything like this?

I've run these guys with candles, sterno, wax-and-carboard-in-a-can, and wood chips, along with my trangias. Heck, buffalo chips should work to. :P
