California is the most diverse state in the union. From industry to farming, from geography to population to climate and everything in between.

Which is just one of the reasons why it's one of, if not the best state in the country to live in. If you can't find an area to live in or a society/neighborhood that you like here, you're not gonna find it anywhere else in the U.S. Contrary to what some thick headed, divisive politicians might try to tell you, California is mainstream America, it is Main street, Wall street and the Sunset Strip all rolled into one.

The fine people of "Jefferson" might wanna rethink that whole sales tax issue, given the tax base that exists in that part of the state(s) they might find that [censored] about government is a whole lot easier than forming one of their own, not to mention paying for one.

There are a couple of small "towns" around here that wanted to have their own school district and leave the parish ("county" for the rest of the nation) school system. They are now finding out how expensive their little act of defiance really is.

It's fun to watch. "we don't have enough money to hire qualified teachers...." wah!!
