The bag i am carrying is a Coleman Bambusa it has a lower temperature of 0 degress will this be sufficient?

Hi,

1)the lavenfder oil is just essential oil from the plant and apparently it does wonders for stings and is only a small container!

2)Its some of the lifesystems stuff which dores food, clothes and hands-i'll check!

I assume that is O degress Celsius, rather than the antiquated system still in use here in the USA. That should be plenty warm enough, although you should test the bag before hand in field conditions, because ratings are often rather optimistic.

rucksack wise i used a 75 litre.
food wise i recomend the british army rations which all your meals, snacks, drinks etc. these you can sometimes get at army surplus shops or you can get them at www.bcbin.com
what do you carry in your first aid kit?

Thanks-i carry a Lifesystems Mountain first aid kit with some changes

nitrile gloves
a whistle
clingfilm!

To see the contents of the kit

6 antiseptic wipes
4” scissors
2 pairs disposable gloves
7.5cm crepe bandage
non-adherent dressings (1x10cm, 2x5cm)
No. 8 and No. 16 lint dressing
safety pins
large strip adhesive dressing
small ambulance dressing
10 waterproof plasters
triangular bandage
zinc oxide tape and a basic instruction sheet
Supplied in a tough nylon case.

Almost correct, but the upper age limit is 25, not 17 - at least in Canada, I assume it's the same all over but I couldn't say for sure.
