Hi all - a couple months or so ago, there was a link to someone's personal bushcraft site. I read a bit and enjoyed it and meant to come back to it, but I didn't bookmark it. I can't remember the context of the thread that he was mentioned in...perhaps something about someone carrying too many knives (including some specifically for carving while he's camping).

I believe he was based in Britain, and he had an interesting take on gear, including making a lot of his own leather bags to carry/organize his gear. His stove setup was a stainless woodburner similar to a Bushbuddy, which he had set up to be able to burn Esbit tabs and use an alcohol stove, plus he used a cutdown aluminum arrow shaft as a blower to stoke the wood stove.

Anyway, that's the laundry list of the link I'm thinking of - does anyone remember where I can find this one?
