Hi,
1)the lavenfder oil is just essential oil from the plant and apparently it does wonders for stings and is only a small container!
2)Its some of the lifesystems stuff which dores food, clothes and hands-i'll check!

I assume that is O degress Celsius, rather than the antiquated system still in use here in the USA. That should be plenty warm enough, although you should test the bag before hand in field conditions, because ratings are often rather optimistic.

rucksack wise i used a 75 litre. food wise i recomend the british army rations which all your meals, snacks, drinks etc. these you can sometimes get at army surplus shops or you can get them at www.bcbin.com what do you carry in your first aid kit?
