Just received my "CCW Packet" from FL. Need to get fingerprinted, fill out form, include $117 and submit proof of training. (DD-214 or Honorable Discharge) or a long list of suitable other training certifications. Form must be notarized and it appears that it must be notarized in by a Florida notary. (Under notary section form says "State of Florida County of ________"). Also a passport sized (see form for specific size) photo taken within 30 days. You do not have to be a Florida resident, but the law is murky when, as a non-florida resident, you present your Floirda CCW permit in some states. Read the info at the packing site described above.
