What kind of wire do you make your snares out of? I have aluminum welding wire, steel welding wire, and electric fence wire which is flexible like copper but much stronger.

Appreciate any information.

I've read a lot of people like brass wire.
I've tested several kinds and tend to lean toward military trip wire. Strong, flexible, and have green and a tan kind of color.
It's really a preference thing. Only thing I suggest is to spool it on something or store it in a loop form. If you wrap it aroung a card or put little kinks in it then it pretty much becomes binding at that point.

Where did you get the military snare wire at and what's the cost? Thanks.
