Ya know, OBG, it did. But the way my body processed my blood and adrenaline in training was different than in races, especially those that last 13-17 hours.

To go out and ride 100 miles or run 20 miles was affecting my body but we (me, wife, coach, team mates) thought it was general fatigue. I also was only training between 3-6 hours at a shot so the build up in my blood was not as much as in Ironmans.
