Professionals are expensive. Yes, you can eliminate the middle man ( M.D. , D.V.M., opthamologist, plumber et al) and save money. Then one night you wake up to a overflowing toilet, your mail order contacts fall out and you break your leg in the fall. Now Mr. professional is supposed to deal with a new client; ignorant of his past history of health care, copper or PVC plumbing and credit rating.
