ETS'ers are invited HERE to join some great people at the Finger Lakes National Forrest. Great campfire talk, gear show and tell, gear tests, giveaways, etc.

Just tell them no matter how many times I was investigated by the Texas state authorities, US government, Interpol, and Chinese officals no one could ever pin anything on me. That should reassure them. cool

-Blast, who is so in on this meet-up.

My friend Richard is founder of the Sacramento Tracking and Wilderness Training Group' the websire is a Yahoo Group. His family has several thousand acres in Nevada near Yrington (sp?).

He and his brother had, and his brother's son now has, duties behind the lines in the Middle East that involve calculating windage, Coriolis forces, and the curvature of the earth.

If there is serious interest in a get-together ....

Blast,
Careful, the cat has been ratting you out. Something about your nickname does not involve your lab work but something coming from the "rear". grin

I think I'd be up for a trip to Nevada next Spring. Anyone else interested in getting together, or organizing such an event?

Jeff

Why don't we give it a try? First, let's try Nevada in the Spring, and if that's too far away for too many, try for an "East" event somewhere like TN or KY? Comments? Suggestions?

Ya' sure? We'd hate to leave you out. Maybe one of our solid citizen/experienced parent types could agree to look out for you and convince your folks.

I think this thing may be just barely within the realm of the possible!

Been to MG shoots in Arz. but never Nevada, And in this day and age who in there right mind would admit that they had a MG unless they have a type 3 lic. cool
By the way I was working for a gunsmith that had a type 3 lic. when I went to those shoots. Lots of fun, lots of ammo and lots of noise.

Spring get together? That would be a a trip I would make. I would bet that Rantor and I and our DF would split the costs. Should probably talk to his about this first befor I start volunteering him.... regardless, count me in!
