Richard is on a motorcycle ride to Washington state and will be back early next week. I will ask him to join this forum - if he isn't already here under some cover name.

Let's invite the SEAL's in training from Coronado, they bring lots of neato stuff, and a ton of ammo!!!

Got a call from Richard. He will chime in when he gets back. but wanted the group to know that he knows of a range about 30 miles from the family proerty in Nevada that rents automatic and heavy weapons up to and including tank-killer stuff.

Also not to likely want to shoot on the family property but will discuss other stuff.

Interesting concept, certainly something to do solo and not with a group of buddies or family, with you 'roughing' it and them having some comfort.

I will say this for myself, I go use my EDC items on a regular basis, except the space blanket, (to hard to fold back down to the small size, though I do have another I use for demonstrations, tests and such).

I think if anyone has a EDC kit or 'survival' items and doesn't take out the items and use them, they are setting themselves up for hard times. These pieces should be used as frequently as possible and replaced when necessary.

I'd be all for it depending on what happens with the DW's music thing. Halfway through recording the CD and it looks like the band playing gigs again is following closely behind that. See what kind of free time I have left when that start's rolling. (P.S. I want to meet Blast, OBG and Benjammin in particular, we seem to think a lot alike from what I've seen)

I'm in with DW's blessings. She said just to let her know when it'll be so she can schedule it in the family planner.

If it's within 1,000 miles of Houston I've drive, otherwise I guess I'll have to fly. shocked The nice thing about driving is I can bring more, um, stuff with me. Plus if there's someone else in the general Texas area who wants to ride with me I'm open.

-Blast, wondering how to convince Christina to go...

Blast,

I live in Temple and I'd love to go. I'll just have to see if it fits the family schedule so I can take off.

Matt,

Anyone using Boba Fett's mythosaur skull emblem as their icon definitely can ride with me! grin
