But in truth, isn't it all good news?
The media makes things sound as dismal as possible... yet, even now we have fewer than 50 fatalities. And we've lost more soldiers to accidents and friendly-fire incidents than we have in battle.
Americans are notorious for being impatient and wanting everything NOW. But did anybody really think we'd win this war in a week, or even in a month? If its over in less than a month, it will be one of the most stunning military victories in history!
War is hell, but so far its been a lot more hellish on the bad guys than the good guys. (And no, I don't apologize to anyone here for referring to the Americans as the "good guys", so don't ask!)
