Hey guys!
I was just wondering what I can edc for high school.
So far I have (in my backpack)
*some havy duty moist towelettes * The dough ritter Psk * 4 micropur mp1 tablets * a red cross fak * 3 4x4 guaze pads * some gloves (nitrile) *county comm pocket screwdriver thing (looks like a pen) * pocket mask (I have my CPR for proffessional rescuer, so don;t worry) * 1 liter of water * diplomat pocket orginizer, with pens and stuff (has needle and thread also) *some ibuprofin *some anti-acid * 3x 25mg dose of benydryl * ~10' hank of paracord
I was just wondering what I could carry in my person... heres what I currently have on me:
wallet with ID Some band aids a dose of ibuprofin cell phone pen (either lamy safari FP, or cheap bic pen) i-pod
is there anything else that I could carry?
I think a very small sak (farmer maybe) would be acceptable, but im not sure. Oh yeah, I go to a private school, so i can getr away with a lot more
Any help would be appreciated!

Good thing you go to a private school, because in many public schools the Ipod or the cellphone would get you suspended, the Ibuprofen, antacid, SAK and needle and thread would probably get you expelled (zero tolerance: drugs and weapons, albeit the dumbest concept I've ever heard).
To be honest, I'd be more worried about carrying books, homework, pens and pencils, and a calculator in high school. OK - I didn't carry a calculator back in high school, but I don't think you'll find too many slide rules like I had still available these days! There just aren't too many foreseeable emergencies I can come up with for high school. The most foreseeable would be needing a gun for self defense against a whacko schoolmate gone crazy, but I doubt those are allowed. Nor are they advisable, for someone of high school age. No offense intended.

Ipods and cellphones are aloud, you just arent aloud to have the phone out during the school day. I am not sure if I want to carry the sak, I probably won't, but i may end up asking Also most of this is carried in the very front pocket of my backpack, away from the books and "normal" school supplies. I think I may add some ducttape, but that would be all I do carry water, 1 liter in a Sigg bottle

Sounds like a good kit, add a quality whistle, a Fox or Acme. A knife is a good idea, but as previous posters have said , you may be asking for trouble in high school, although an SAK will make you look more like boy scout than ninja wannabe.
Lamy Safari.....didn't think someone in HS would appreciate a good fountain pen but good for you, I have a decent collection but the best are my vintage Parker 51s. For EDC my go to is a Fisher Space Pen, a low end one as all that matters is the cartridge.

I just like my safari because I don't really have to worry about it, but it is a fp, so I do worry some. I don;t think im going to go with the knife, for now at least

If you were in California, before you brought any of that to school:
Have your parents talk to the most sympathetic teacher you know; get them to go with you to the school counselor to explain why this is timportant to you. Then you get to talk to the school administrator and security folks.
Likely outcome: No medications or medicated anything allowed at school - zero drug tolerance. No sharps of any kind - zero weapon tolearance. No masks or gloves - nothing that could mask identity. No tools - except to vandalize or use as a weapon, why would a kid need tools at school? No rope - kids could use rope to garrote or hang themselves - (see tools).
Etcetera.
Be prepared at school? Go to counseling during your suspension - unless you get expelled instead.
Want to carry that kit around outside of school in California? First, have your parents talk to someone in local law enforcement ....

basicly
if you use anything as a weapon you get expelled, or of you have something that is a weapon

I go to a private high school also, the public ones are ridiculous. I carry a diplomat pocket organizer with all sorts of goodies. Good luck.

When I was in high school we carried pocket knives at our own risk. Some teachers did not care and we used them in class as needed others would have surely suspend us or reported us to the principal.
Ditto that. Had to use my pocket knife in 10th grade to dissect a fetal pig because the school's scalpels were too dull.
