[color:"red"] [/color] I love talking to you guys, but sometimes I wish you'd speak in layman's terms. Is KI used to define Potassium iodide?? I love camping and the outdoors, but I'm new to a lot of the survival details.

Yes, that's right!
KI is the chemical name for Potassium (K) Iodide (I).
