It seems to be the thing to do today and since California has been mentioned a few times recently for various things I figured I'd throw another log on that fire...what the hell.

This is a link to an interesting article about how California uses about 20 billion gallons of fuel a year. More than any other country except the US itself (including giants like China, India, etc). Can be a very scary statistic when put in certain contexts.

When I read about stuff like this I can't help but chuckle at the contradiction that is California.
