Is it just me or does the new Kershaw folding saw shown in the new shot show report, look exacly like the sandvic (bacho) folding "laplander" saw.
To me it looks identical, same locking system complete with the same sign as to how to unlock it. Handle looks identical and those teeth and the blade covering look just the same as well.
Can anyone shed any light on this? I'm confused.

Well, saws are supposed to ripp <img src="images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> Many makers employ other manufacturers; many COLD STEEL products are actually Camillus made. I suspect what you have here is a Sandvic sold by Kershaw.

Really? Do you know specifically which Cold Steel products are not Cold Steel? Do you have a link for us to look it up in the future?

seems like a real swiz to me. I think I shall check up on the prices now, see if you have to pay anymore for the Kershaw brand name. Seems to me that if someone wants to buy a saw they can get the one with the real makers name on it not some big american corporations...
