I know that's it's probably overkill but I've been using Micropur MF 250 in both my stored water and in the camper when I fill the fresh water tank. The marine supply store that used to carry it, no longer does.

I've ordered some on line once, only to have it arrive and be past due date when it hit my doorstep.

Has any members used it and have a solid source of supply that I've been missing?

Thanks for your help.

That's an old silver ion based water treatment product, since discontinued from the Katadyn line. Not sure if anyone still manufactures it.

Thanks for the quick reply, Doug.

I think the labelling has changed and it is now just called "Micropur classic" but is still listed on the Katadyn site...

I think the "MF" was to distinguish the fluids from the powders and tablets but the ingredients and application seem identical.

Thanks for the quick response.

Yes, but not on the U.S. site and not sold in the U.S.
