You probably plan to purify water 2 L at a shot, but it might help if you marked the 1 L line on your Platypus.

I also carry an inexpensive fleece or woolen blanket to drape over the injured to combat shock and cold in general.

I think Emergency Essentials has a passable cheap wool blend blanket:
