So me and the misses picked up a game that might interest a few of you out there, especially those who are fans of zombie movies or like imagining TEOTWAWKI via zombie invasion. Its called ZOMBIES!!!, and basicaly its a "board" game. I say "board" because its actually 30 tiles that get placed one at a time by each player jigsaw puzzle-esque starting with the town center piece starting out. The idea, from this point on is to go around trying to kill zombies/survive, picking up life tokens and bullet tokens until the helipad square (which is inserted into the bottom half of the draw pile) is placed, then make a mad dash for it and kill the zombies there to escape. Alternative victory is killing 25 zombies. Event cards help to throw monkey wrenches at your opponents and aid yourself. For 2 to 6 players. Note: game is best played with REALLY close loved ones or people who can take a joke. You really get to test the waters when you play a card that lets you drop 5 or 10 zombies anywhere you want, then a card that lets you move an opponent where ever you want, like right thru that horde of zombies that just cropped up. "Oh baby, I'm so sorry. You were so close to the helipad too"

I got it here in Tampa, Fla at a gaming shop called Armada Games. You can check out the games website to order a copy. Twilightcreationsinc.com DISCLAIMER: while I am not affiliated in any way to Twilight Creations nor receive compenstion from them, I am good friends with the owners of Armada Games (Mike, Brain, and Mike II) even if I don't get compensated from them either.

Ok, if Blast approves it, now I really have to get it.
I'm a big gamer myself... I used to play a lot of Avalon Hill games... Some favorites are Starship Troopers, Amoeba Wars, etc...
Now I get most of my fix from Xbox 360 online play.

Nope, picked up a bag of zombie babes. Gonna pick up ZOMBIES!!!3: Mall Walkers and ZOMBIES!!!4: The End, today seeing as how they are (supposedly, according to the site) out of print. We picked up ZOMBIES!!!2: Zombie Corps(e) while we were there also. Haven't used it yet as we wanted to try a couple of games with the base game. Blast, have ya heard of the card game Munchkin? It is pretty fun too. Another "screw your friends to win" type, although its best played with at least 3 to 4 people IMHO. With two there is not enough room for strategy and allies with a heavy dose of backstabbing. Its D&D farce based, although they also have ones based on spies, super heros, space opera, kung-fu, and my favorite-Cthluhu. Give em a try. Is start out with the basic munchkin first. Could be a great item to throw in a water-proof bag and play while out and about with your buddies -Bill Liptak

Zombies looks awesome. I'm going on a hunt this afternoon to see if I can track down a copy.
I just don't understand how it's not as popular as Monopoly. What's not to like about the Living Dead?

Oh an Blast, Zombie Corps(e) comes with 6 of the glow-in-the-dark zombies. They get placed on the government lab tile when its drawn. They are "government enhanced". Faster and harder to kill (2 move instead of one, kill on a 5 or 6 instead of a 4 thru 6) still can't be more than one per square and can't pass thru a space with a zombie (thankfully).

Blast, have ya heard of the card game Munchkin? It is pretty fun too. Another "screw your friends to win" type, Yes, I own that one! Love it! Okay, y'all are going to laugh, but one of the best games I've played is the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Boardgame. This game rocks! It's kind of like a cross (ha ha) between D&D the ZOMBIES!! game. Copies are very hard to come by nowdays, but worth it if you like games. -Blast
