I use a Benchmade AFO. It's an automatic as opposed to assisted opening but very nice if you live in an area where they're legal. Originally designed as one handed knife for Coast Guard rescue swimmers it's also been adopted fro use in Navy and Marine Corps pilots' survival vests. Ed

Gimmick. Cool gimick, but gimmick nevertheless. Many one-hand-opening knives (Spydercos, Benchmades, etc.) will open faster than an assisted knife.
