hi there to all of the uk contingent, did anyone of you go to the outdoor show at the NEC last weekend? i did, it was ok, but there wasn't much new stuff there to my jaded eye! any thoughts anyone?

Personally I hate shows because you get to see all the new stuff and than it's not available for next 3-4 months. Like the Kershaw new locking carabine multi tool available in... May. By that time I already will buy couple of Gerber river knives. Or Inova X1 flashlight which has no ETA, by the time they release it I will prolly get somehting different. In my honest opinion companies should not showcast the item unless they can deliver. Like i don't have enough stree and excitment in my life <img src="images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
