The belt matches the shoes. The belt is a one piece leather so that I can strop my knives on it. My light wool socks match my trousers also.

Ah, but do the belt/shoes match the gloves?

I agree with OBG (as usual) about the Frisk gloves.

They are good for what they are ment for, but the tight cuffs limit circulation in my hands and cause my fingers to get cold fast in the winter. Therefore I wear them only in situations that call for their use.

Sidenote: The purpose of the tight cuffs is to keep infected blood from running down into the gloves and infecting the wearer through existing cuts on the hand.

Awww. Me either Frankie but I love squeeky cheese smile

Love the watch. Analog with a manual wind is the way to go. I had a Highgear uber-watch with compass and barometer, etc. I had it through the winter and then the first time I took it out into the bush, the battery died cause all those gizmo features kill the battery in about 5 months (or less). :P

More observant ETS members should have noticed the lock on the door. Observe the keyhole is OUTSIDE. This is proactive socialised medicine at it's best.

No but I'm concerned about the strap of the watch since I'm wearing it all the time. I'm thinking about buying brown and black leather straps from Jürgen (made in germany) to match my rotation between brown and black shoes/belts. They have chicago screws so that it's quick and easy to replace but I don't think I will really bother rotating the strap everyday...

Chicago screws have a nasty habit of unthreading. If you use them, apply some locktite or even a dab of fingernail polish.

I hate Chicago screws exactly for that reason. Be sure to use the blue locktite, as the red stuff requires heat to release. But as Chris noted fingernail polish seems to work just as well.

Just don't use Green Loctite unless you never want to change the band again ever.
