I would think cooking that involved boiling water would be safe... The water will keep the inside of the pan at 100 degrees C (212 F) until it evaporates. Most modern equipment doesn't leach anything out at temps this low. Even most plastics wont melt in this temperature range.

Now if you're going to fry steaks over an open fire. You might have some problems! <img src="images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />
