i would say that its in between urban and some "non-urban" (small villages and plantation estates (rubber tree, palm oil, etc).
it depends which part of the country as well. I lived in an area in between the city and the outskirts.

the emergencies that we encounter here is (in no order)
1. flood (so far has not affected my area, but some areas 20km away)
2. earthquake (certain parts of the country have "felt" it, but no significant threat yet. worries me a lot!)
3. tsunami (we are near Indonesia,so got to be prepared if SHTF)
4. land slides
5. electricity disruption
6. water supply disrupted (i'm experiencing it right NOW!)

a fishing kit is good to have, but i probably also need to have a bigger pouch to fit it in I am currently setting up my fishing kit and my BOB bag.
