Couple of questions: What is the tampon for? I have used a regular sanitary napkin as a bandage, never tried a tampon. If that is the planned use, have you used one before?

My one experience in a jungle (Panama) we really had to work to find dry wood for a fire, usually with the help of a 12" machete. How 'bout your place, can you get dry fuel with a folder???
