MichaelJ07 Member Registered: 12/19/06 Posts: 101 Loc: Michigan, USA	What type of stones am I to look for to start my fire? I don't think it's the big stones in my driveway. Do I just find several stones and strike them together to see if they spark? All I need is the spark. Thanks! I apologize for the limited details of my request. _________________________ That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error.

clearwater Old Hand Registered: 03/19/05 Posts: 1185 Loc: Channeled Scablands	Hard stones that will chip off tiny pieces of the iron. Quartzite, Chirt, Flint etc. If you get one of the mish-metal strikers you can use most anything hard, brass keys, stainless steel knives etc.
