Nice kit!

Gotta get me one of those saw handles...

Just a few hints/ideas/fine tuning:

1.Add another bandana.
2.Ditch the baseball cap and go with a small boonie, sans ziplock. How critical is it to keep a hat dry in Phoenix? I used to live in Tucson and for most of the year I would *want* that hat to be wet for cooling.
3.Two mini bics are only slightly larger than that one regular bic, and give you redundancy in a critical area.
4.Add a triangular bandage. Too many uses to count.
5.Change the ziplocks to aloksak bags (Yep, more expensive, but they are nice and make much better water carriers. Get different sizes.)
6.Add 2 Gerber Breast Milk bags.
7.You need two sharpies? Just wondering...
8.Most medical tape I have been exposed to isn't that great. I'd just use the gorilla tape over gauze or 4x4's.
9.When you can, upgrade to the AMK heatsheets bivy. NIIIIICE...
10. Add a N95 mask and swim goggles. You are in the desert, dust storms!
11. Add an eyewash (at least 10mls) to get the sand out of those eyes.
12.Add a local map
13. Geez, I need to shut up already! Sorry!

Interesting. I find that cloth tape works great. Just avoid paper tape.

Absolutely. My kits are full of mostly athletic tape. It's easier for me to deal with than anything that's half as tough. I have some medical tape too, but I prefer the cloth athletic tape.
