Brown heavy duty tarps with a silvery inside. The 6x9 on is about 8 bucks, there was a larger size that I didn't get. Lighter but stronger than most of my blue tarps, and it is a lot less expensive than the heavy duty space or sportsman's blankets.

Duracell CR123s, $3 for a pair. Brand name at a buck-fifty each, no shipping- can't beat that online.

My understanding is that there will be no tax holiday this year. A result of the tighter state budget.

I have never liked such tax breaks and holidays. If the state needs the money to do the business they are charged with doing then they shouldn't waste money legislating, advertising and enforcing a tax holiday. If they have excess over and above what is necessary and while maintaining a prudent reserve for emergencies and contingencies then they should simply lower the tax rates across the board. A matter of efficiency.
