Hi Guys,
I need a bit of expertise if you dont mind. I've had a Muela Mirage combat knife since the late 80's and the sheath is on its last legs to say the least, no amount of tape or restitching can save it now, so I'm on the hunt for a new sheath. The one I've norrowed my search down to is a Blackhawk industries airborne sheath. Does anyone have any experience with this bit of kit or any suggestions of an alternative. As a bit of interest does anyone elase use a Muela knife?

Thanks in advance

Johno

The Blackhawk sheath is good enough for the U.S. Army SOF new Yarborough knife, which given they took a no-shortcuts attitude towards its production, is a pretty good recommendation. They make good stuff at a reasonable, if not inexpensive price. Everyone in the industry who won't pay their prices copies this sheath, itself quite an endorsement. For silent carry, shove a small piece of webbing to the bottom to capture the knife's tip

I have a CRK Sable in a Blackhawk sheath and I can definitely vouch for how well it holds up! The only downside is figuring out what all the tabs and attachment points are for... <img src="images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
