Be sure to check the prices in addition to the shipping cost.
I purchased much of my food storage out of Washington state from John at Survival Acres:
http://survivalacres.com/ As a caveat: John is a raving survivalist and borderline paranoid loon but he is very friendly has great customer service with instant email replies and his prices were the best when including shipping rates a year ago when I ordered from him.
Regardless of where you end up purchasing, brace yourself when looking at the total bill and the total wait/shipping time...prices have nearly doubled since my order a year ago and shipping times have increased 3 times due to recent demand! Its shocking to see where the commodities are at right now. I'm not trying to fear monger here its just hard to believe when looking at it.
If need be you can always lower your cost by buying raw staples instead of the pre-made freeze dried mountain house meal selections.
Good luck!
Cheers,
Nemo.
