let us know how they perform. I order a lot of flashlights and DIY stuff from Dealextreme and kaidomain but haven't really ordered from the other categories except gagdets as gifts.

hi Jackel, the flint looks like the swedish army model with a small hacksaw blade secured to it..mil-tec also does the same item and is available thru the (Spotsmans guide)catalog...would'nt it be cheaper to buy a real Swedish army flint on your side of the pond ? Oh well have fun and tell us how it works out for you....vince g. 11b inf.

about the cheapest i have found is £3 ($6) + £1.50 p + p so the DX offering is attractive and cheap enough to tag onto flashlight orders. prices here in the UK are generally not good to be honest,

i have got most of my gear from abroad or surplus via ebay. it can be cheaper to buy from an american supplier even with the delivery and import duty costs than buy here.

if i like them i'll stockup, a nasty expensive habit i have smile

when they arrive i'll try them out and report on them. the post was aimed at those who may have trouble finding firesteels at a reasonable price.

btw 11BIF don't get the Fenix E01 from KD $18.57, fenix-store.com are doing them for $15
