I was out and about the other day when I saw another Ritter PSK for sale. I know the contents are subject to change and I'm not griping or anything, but I noticed the pencil inside this one was really thin.

You must have bought one of the kits when availability was limited. All the kits that I own (four of them) or have ever seen either online or in various stores has featured the mini pencil.
