That probably wouldn't work. I once reloacated a cat (to the home of person who really really liked cats, and had a jillion of them). Almost full term pregnant, she was back at our home in about five hours. So we decided that she must really want to live with us, got rid of the kittens, had her fixed, and she was the second best cat I ever had. Point of the story, they can be like boomerangs sometimes...

Where was the sweet little kitty? As God as my witness, I thought kitties could fly...Reminds me of an old "WKRP In Cincinatti" episode where they run a promotion at Thanksgiving, and drop live turkeys over a shopping mall parking lot... Les Nessman is covering it live, and does a broadcast like the Hindenburg disaster. "Live turkeys plumeting to the ground, oh the humanity..." Later, the station manager says: "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly"

10 points to Be-Prepared for recognizing the quote!
Maybe it's just me, but I think that was the funniest bit ever seen on TV.

I apparently accumulated way too much meaningless trivia during the 70's. I do remember some pretty funny skits on that show. In a former life, I worked with a guy who really put tape on the floor of the bullpen we were in around his desk, "that's where the walls would be, if I had an office" Of course, back then, I think I was just watching the show because Loni Anderson was the "executive assistant" character on the show.

"...just watching the show because Loni Anderson..."
 Oh yeah!

Actually, I loved the show for the comedy too, and the non-flying turkeys was always my favorite...

10 points to Be-Prepared for recognizing the quote!"The turkeys are hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement!" I once inadvertantly flushed a wild turkey while hiking through the Pocono's -- the thing sounded like a freaking helicopter as it flew by. Jim
