Spotted these in Best Buy yesterday for about $20. They had them in black, red and blue. Not super hard sided, more just stiff, but it should make an interesting organizer for smaller kits and EDC items. I get paid on Friday. I think one of these will follow me home on Saturday. Should be able to get a couple in a Fatboy, and twice as many in a Jumbo.

Interesting, but it looks like you could probably find a Pelican case of the same size for around the same price. Much tougher case for the money, in my opinion. Pelicans are not perfect, but they are tough...

Thought about Pelicans, but they are heavier and less efficent in terms of usable volume vs outter dimensions.
And these won't go click-clack as I move if I have more than one in a bag. *grins*

$20 is way too much for such a thing. Go to a few dollar stores and look at the pencil cases...similar size 1/20th the price You might even find some in the same semi-rigid style. Personally I LOVE pelican cases but they are heavy, thick, and not always practical.

Looks a lot like the small bags I accumulated while flying business class over the past few years. Great soft sided zippered cases for modularizing my pack goods. Not so much for EDC, but only due to my present work environment.
BTW, I think Ironraven ought to limit his posts to one large one per day, at least until I catch up.

They also have some give to them if you try to stuff something larger than one of the dimensions such as thicker but not as long or wide.

Been looking for years. To get ones I like, I need to buy in bulk- factor in the shipping and what you do with the 195 I don't need...
