Hi Aloha,

Sorry to hear about your Mother-In-Law, hope she feels better and things get back to normal for you soon.

Your pictures always make me eager to live in a warmer climate, we had a big winter storm here today. Our 3 kids stayed home from school and pestered each other until I forced my son to do his homework and took the oldest daughter to a friend's house in town (seperate and overcome concept).

This winter has seemed longer than usual!

Thanks for the "mini-vacation" with your family!

Mike

Blast – octopus was delicious.

OBG – of course it was sticky rice.

Conspiracy? Senator Blitz, I have no recollection of that event.

SwampDonkey – you’re welcome on the mini-vacation.

NightHiker – I could eat sushi every day!

Thank you everyone for your well wishes. The latest word I got on my MIL is that it had to do with e coli. She is starting to feel better it seems. Mahalo!

Mahalo Onedzguy.

Here's a MIL update...

She just went home from the hospital even though fever came back. There's nothing like being home. Apparently she got some wierd combo of e coli and type II diabetes that hit her about the same time.

My wife will be going to visit her at home tomorrow while I keep the kids home since my MIL is still weak and tired. So we will have a better idea how she is tomorrow.
