Hi all. I'm new to posting here, but have been reading posts for awhile. My question is: Is there a list of all items that you should have in the event of ANY emergency? My concern is that all threats require different items. Is the threat a Nuke, Smallpox, Chemical, etc.?? How about weapons for home protection from people who want your food or water. What about antibiotics for Anthrax etc?? So far I have been adding these items to my kit:

Canned food
Coleman Stove
Coleman fuel
Water
Wind up radio
Medicine & Vitamins
Guns & ammo
Cash
Kerosene heater

Also a lot of other items. Do I need a generator?
