There may never be a "complete" list of everything you need for any type of emergency, since each of here may consider various items to be essential vs. nice to have. Each of us may have different numbers, ages, and health conditions of family members. This will result in what each of considers "necessary". Doug has made extensive lists and evaluations of items for survival, use these as a "hard" list or use them as a start to evaluate your own needs. Many of us here believe the process of thinking what needs to go into the various kits to be vital in any survival situation. Many individuals buy a ready-made kit or use the list (as is) of someone else to formulate what to have on hand or include in their kit(s), this can lead to a false sense of security. The creation of the kit(s), with what is on hand, what can be made or what one has to purchase is part of thought process. My recommendation for what it is worth, is to use the kit list(s)/this forum as a start, but only you can hone your skills and tweak what needs to be in your kit(s). It looks like you have made an excellent start. Pete <img src="images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
