It's normally good fishing except when the water's "big". This is usually at high tide or after heavy rains. If there's too much water in the creek then the fish just don't bite. Maybe something to do with the probability of a fish coming to within sensing distance of the bait decreasing the more water there is in the creek?
The thing is that I'm not a fisherman but I'd like to be. It's frustrating to say the least. I'm not sure that fishing is going to be an easy source of food in a survival situation. But then again, that might just be my luck...
