Unexpected adverse weather seems to inpsire a lot more "combat driving". I miss my 77 suburban. 3 tons of steel built like a box car with a 406 running glass packs and headers and all time 4wd, worth all of about $1,500. Not too many that willingly got in my way driving that bastard.

When I get back to Denver someday, I am getting an F-550 and putting a wrap around pusher bumper on the front and back, or something like that. To heck with the mileage, I want something that will survive the idiots and a-holes a bit more. Or maybe I'll just grab one of those Army surplus rigs.

I am becoming Burt Gummer more and more these days.
