Orange is good but even day-glow orange can look a lot like brown when the light gets dim. Red is notorious for looking like brown. Which is why a lot of the old hunting rules about wearing red have been changed to bright orange.

Some experts claim that blue shows up particularly well in nature. Not many blue things out in the woods. But I remember a few flowers and blue might look like black in dim light.

I'm not sure there is a perfect color.
