I work odd shifts and am on-call all the time so without my watch showing me what day it is I would never know.

Agreed... My schedule is 24 on, 48 off, common in emergency services in many areas. You figure "we get a weekend after every tour" but in reality every tour is a Monday. After 32 years on the job, EMS stands for "every minute sucks". Gotta enough time in to retire, looking for a position elsewhere, maybe flipping burgers in the Keys. smile

had today off and went hiking with my hiking buddy. great temps, great views, feels great.

tomorrow is my monday and i know i'll get creamed. but today is great.
