Why bother with the backpack frame, a coupe cross braces would have been just as good.??????

Not sure about the cyclist in the article's photo. Riding in flip flops and without a helmet seems a pretty good method for being "Equipped to get Hurt". grin

Actually, i wish i could show you some of the bike "carts" some of the homeless here make. they don't require fancy tools to make and can be made from easily scroungable parts. and from what i've seen they often do not take long to build.

That's what I think too. Looks like he made a trailer, then added the backpack frame just to put any load on. Why bother with that, just use a little more conduit...
