I have somewhere, (I think), a page/paper listing the "23 cent survival kit". I'm not certain where I got this, but I believe it was from a survival course I took in high school.

Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this?

I may be able to dig this up out of my less-than-well-organized archives. I also may be able to get it from the instructor who taught this course (years ago).

It was a nice excercise in a simple, no frills, survival kit. It's nice to know that a basic kit doesn't need to cost tens (or hundreds) of dollars.
