I sit at home in what is someday going to be the front livingroom (still no furniture); there are youth group papers, kids toys and homewook scattered about, along with a stack of outdoor adventure maps and some mending. Out the window there is lots of snow, but it is a very bright day and only -9*c.

Sitting in an office facing away from the window. The opposite building is Loreal's headquaters, the ladies are too much of a distraction.

if i stand up and walk to the window, i see... a single cruise ship in harbour, the harbour, lots of palms, nothing really useful out my window to use.

now, if i stay in my cube... different story!

Ok, I must be a bad boy. I looked at the rifle on the cover of their report and thought, "Cool! Wonder if I would get lucky enough to shoot one some day." whistle

This is the best I can do -

1. Make sure you have the sound turned on.
2. Turn up the volume.
3. Go to -

at the office - walkers, joggers, dog walkers, skateboarders, bicycle riders, beach front houses, palm trees, blue skies, para-sailers, outbound and inbound surfers, ingoing and outgoing cargo ships taller than the surrounding buildings, and some crazy ground squirrel with a big bushy tail that's definitely in the wrong neighborhood - that's so far managed to evade the local cats.

:)Currently sitting in my home office, surrounded by (2) computers, several Public Safety radios, my BOB and my EDC bag, several personal protection devices wink in close proximity, and too many more items to list.

While sitting on the bank @ the north end of San Antonio Bay:

South Bank:
part of a galvanized water tank
10 ft of PVC pipe
scrub trees and sand dune grasses (for shelter making)
A camp with a windmill, 4sm north of me

The Gulf Intracoastal Waterway separates:

North Bank:
a USCG cottage (with electricity) w/a dirt road leading to civilization
a village (Charlie's Bait Camp) 4.2sm north
