I'm looking for an online source for the white tea packets in the British ration packs. Does anyone know of a source? Matt

Hi Matt

The instant white tea packets are from a company called Premier Brands. It sold its tea brand to Apeejay International Tea Limited in 2005.

I don't think that sachets provided in the UK British Ration Packs are generally available in the UK (no-one really drinks instant tea) but I suspect it is the same appalling stuff sold in larger jars called Ty-phoo Tea QT.

The Ty-phoo QT instant tea can also be found for vending machines in packs of 25 (including the plastic cups)

If there is one thing in the UK 24hr ration pack that needs to be thrown away its the instant tea sachets. Tea bags are infinitely superior, including the Ty-phoo tea bags, which are excellent.

No argument about tea bags being better, I'm not much of a hot tea drinker either. Main reason I'm looking is to make up some brew kits. In an altoids tin I keep instant coffee, creamer and sugar, several chicken bouilion packets and the white tea packets. Plus matches and HD foil. My Father was able to bring back a 24hr ration from the UK a few years ago and thats when I discovered them. Thanks for the link, to be honest I was not very hopefull. Thanks again
Matthew

Thats what I was thinking by putting these together. I am able to fit two coffee sets, two bouillon and two tea packets into the tin and seal with electricians tape. I just want to make a few more.

IMO it doesn't get much more instant than a tea bag.

I agree, in kits I pack the kind that come individually wrapped in plastic. No Problem.

I just put 10 tea bags in a snack sized Ziploc. Keep one in my EDC bag and one with my food in the backpack.
