I never tried them but my guess is that they are too specialized for applications where you have to work with liquids and chemicals for a long time. And I don't think they breathe.
For general purspose the best is wool liners with leahter mitts treated with water repellent. The cheapest mitts are warmer then the most expensive gloves. If you're going to play with snow, the best is to have gauntlets (long cuffs). And there are trigger finger mittens availaible, which is convenient when you want to tie knots in the cold without removing your mitts and if it's cold you just put your finger with the others.
